Before: 197 lbs., Wearing sizes 16-18, was using the “Y2K World Wide famine” as an excuse for being overweight
After: Lost 59 lbs., down to size 6-8, full of energy and loves the way she looks and feels.

As the year 2000 approached, I was using the “Y2K World Wide famine” as my excuse for being overweight, at least that was the best reason I could think of to stay overweight.

My weight loss experience started in July 2000. I was 44, 5′ 4″ and weighted 197 pounds, I had 1 pair of jeans I squeezed into. I worked out, 5 times a week for 30 minutes, but I kept gaining weight. My metabolism was out of whack. I was tired and sluggish all the time.

I remembered “The Cambridge Diet” which had been very successful for me in the past. I turned on my computer & connected to the Internet.

I received my first month’s supply of Cambridge, July 27, 2000. I set a series of weight loss goals and I had a plan. Yes, I was hungry and it wasn’t a “picnic,” I mean “a walk in the park,” but I felt great! I wasn’t tired and I had a lot more energy.

When I turned 45, I had lost 24 lbs. After 8 weeks on my weight journey I had lost 32 lbs. I was “on a roll,” actually I lost several rolls. The pair of jeans I was squeezing into back in July was falling off my hips. I was able to fit into a size 12.

In November I started adding 400 to 800 calories of regular healthy food. My weight loss slowed down during the Holidays, but I made it through the hardest time of the year with no weight gain. I lost 4 lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. By January 5, 2001, I had lost a total of 49 lbs.

The beginning of March 2001, I was within 4 lbs of my goal. I still use Cambridge and I have 1 pair of size 6 jeans I fit into, what a difference. I have so much energy and I feel so good, I owe it all to Cambridge!
